Hyundai Pa to be Launched Soon

Hyundai Motors India is all set to launch its new compact car i10. Code named as Pa, i10 has already completed road test in the Chennai-Bangalore route. The four seater Pa is expected to bridge the gap between Hyundai Santro and Hyundai Getz.

Arvind Saxena, The Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motors India Limited, said that Pa will be first introduced in India, followed by a global launch. The company is planning to treat India as the hub for the production of Pa. The plant in Chennai is expected to enhance the production to meet the global demand.

What is new?

i10 inherits a few of its features from Santro, the most successful model from Hyundai. The exteriors are stylishly designed to give it a sporty look. The front grill is slung a bit low to catch the attention of car lovers.

Cat’s eye shaped huge headlights is distinct in design. The tail lamps appear to be similar to Santro ones. The base model of Hyundai i10 is expected to come with fog lamp mounted front bumper and rear wiper. The spectacularly designed alloy wheels makes Pa stand out among the contemporary designs.

The interiors are expected to beat the market demands in terms of quality and comfort. The console is mounted in the centre to provide a better view. The dimensions are very same as that of Santro except for height. This new petrol car is slightly shorter (about 40 mm) than Santro.

The engine of entrant version of Hyundai i10 will be 1.1L petrol engine with a power of 64 bhp. The higher versions will have 1.1L diesel engine (CRDi) of 75 bhp and 1.2L petrol engine of 80 bhp.

No information about mileage is available as of now. The price is expected to be around 4 lakhs. You can expect this brand new car from Hyundai by end of this month or early November.
