Nissan Car for $2500

To compete with Tatas One Lakh car, Nissan-Renault joint are planning for a low cost car in India. Their local partner would be Bajaj Auto.

At the Tokyo Motor Show Nissan CEO, Carlos Ghosn said:

“We have already practically decided all the attributes of the car. We have the full intention to do it – if it’s feasible. Hopefully this is going to be 2010 in India,”

The Nissan-Renault alliance is planning to invest in huge for this venture. Most of the cars would be produced by Indian partner Bajaj. Bajaj Auto, who has already shown up their talents in two wheelers, is expected to make a brilliant debut in the four wheeler sector with this low cost car.

He added that initial aim would be Indian market. They have further plans to extending to Europe, Middle East and even United States.

World wide car makers are keenly waiting for the launch of the low cost cars in India, As the launch will have a remarkable impact on the automotive market across the world.
